					We had a great stay. The cabin was just a few minutes from the main road and close proximity to several points of interest in Res River Gorge, but the hills and preserved tree growth in the area still made it feel peaceful and secluded. 

We had a particularly fun time with the fire pit that was nestled in the woods, exploring the property and scrambling up the rocks, making meals in the well stocked kitchen (even had a small spice rack!), enjoying the scenery through the large windows in the living room, and the kids loved the bunk beds and climbing wall. 

Kyle was a great host and was very responsive…especially when we accidentally locked ourselves out of the cabin!

A few minor inconveniences were that the downstairs sleeping area did not have a door to close off the space, there were no drawers or closets for clothes storage in any of the rooms, and the hot water seemed to runout quickly for showers. But these were all minor, and would not stop us from returning or recommending!!

-All appliances look/worked like new.

The master bathroom

-Tub and shower are well done and high quality. 

The pictures do not make the cabin look bigger than it was.

Everything looked and felt clean.

					The sign of a good trip is when the kids are sad to come home. My family and I just returned from our stay at this cabin. We were a family of 2 adults, 2 kids (7 & 9), and 1 dog. 

This cabin was perfect for us. There was plenty of space. It was clean and well stocked with toiletries like shampoo, conditioner, body soap, etc. We brought food and made most of our meals at the cabin. The kitchen supplies were sufficient, and all appliances worked great. The basement climbing wall and bunk bed were a huge hit with our kids, along with the hot tub. The best part about this rental is the outdoor property. The trails leading up to and around the ridge are so cool! The kids loved climbing the trails so much I think we found a new hobby.

Kyle was very responsive from the get go (like when I had questions prior to booking). He was very helpful with check in instructions, local recommendations, and communication re: a minor issue.

I would definitely recommend this cabin for a family trip!!

					Our time at Kyle's cabin was wonderful. Our kids absolutely loved the climbing wall and games in the basement. We spent hours by the campfire and hiking around the property. The cabin was well appointed and clean. The location was very convenient. The drive up the hill is steep, but our minivan was able to handle it. Overall, fantastic vacation!

					Beautiful and private.  A quaint little romantic cabin getaway in the woods.  Other cabins in view, but still felt private.   Plenty of stairs but no harm in extra exercise if you’re able.

Kitchen well supplied. Everything was clean and comfortable.

					Remote, quiet, a perfect get away from all the noise and day to day hustle and bustle. Upon arriving and seeing the beautiful residence perched on a mountain side, the inside was even more breath taking, the beautiful curved hand carved stairs, the wood work of the living room, kitchen, and bathroom makes this place home away from home. The fireplace made such a wonderful touch of that cozy winter feeling. I most definitely recommend this beautiful stay and look forward to adventuring to more of their other residents. 					Beautiful and unique space! We loved the cozy/private feel of the whole cabin, and especially the hot tub under the rocks. Communication with Kyle was open/easy throughout. Definitely recommend that you pay attention to needing all wheel drive & note the amount of stairs leading up to the cabin - if you’re good with both of those and are looking for a romantic and cozy cabin in the Gorge, highly recommend!

					Very nice cabin for a couple with privacy from neighbors. It has great location. Out enough in mountains but still close to restaurants or activities. Nada tunnel, hiking and kayaking are within a short distance from cabin and Natural Bridge State Park, restaurants, shops and other attractions are few miles across the interchange. There’s beautiful scenic views in all directions from cabin. The hardest thing is deciding which scenic route to take if going for  a ride. Are just stay at the cabin and enjoy the beautiful scenery it has to offer. Enjoy the swing and overlook into mountains up behind cabin. In spring there’s several different wildflowers to enjoy along with ferns and other vegetation. It’s a nice place to go to get away and to relax and enjoy nature, or to just hang out with spouse/significant other without interruptions from work, family and other distractions.

					Eagle’s Nest was the perfect spot for a cozy, peaceful trip to RRG! The cabin is cute and comfy and the area around it is stunning. Close to some great local spots and hiking trails. The driveway is very steep and does not have a flat section to park, which isn’t a huge deal but would have been nice to know beforehand. Otherwise, our stay was delightful and Kyle was a very helpful and responsive host. We’ll definitely be back!

					We were so pleased with our stay! We had five kids between the ages of 1 and 13 with us. They all loved the house (especially the rock climbing wall and bathtub). They provided everything we needed. They even had a bumbo seat and a pack and play available. We did bring our own baby gates because the stairs are pretty steep for little ones. The house is so close to local attractions but there is such great hiking in the backyard, you wouldn’t really have to leave! Kyle was very responsive. We did have some issues starting the fireplace and he responded almost immediately with a YouTube video to help. I highly recommend staying at Along the Ridge. We will definitely be back again!
